This film was beautifully shot, with several fantastic dance scenes to boot. But, the 'Cell Block Tango' sequence was by far the most visually stimulating. Catherine Zeta-Jones, although not a perfect dancer, really keeps up with the amazing ensemble.

This film tells the story of one night in the eyes of four friends: Ronna (who desperately needs to make money for rent), Simon (who goes to Vegas with a group of friends), Mannie (who takes a bunch of ecstasy pills), and Claire (who gets talked into hanging out with a drug dealer). It's definitely one of the cool flicks of the late 90s.

Sanaa Lathan is great as 'Robin' in "The Best Man". She's kind, sensitive, and intelligent. She possesses a likability that is rare. You believe her and want the best for her. I highly recommend this great little film.

... actor Taye Diggs (best known for his roles in "The Best Man" and "How Stella Got Her Groove Back") has been married to Broadway star Idina Menzel (she won a Tony for her starring role in "Wicked") since the two starred in "Rent" together in 1996. They both reprised their stage roles (Diggs as Benny and Menzel as Maureen) in the 2005, Chris Columbus-directed film version of "Rent".

Here's a wedding from the best man's perspective. An up and coming author travels to be with his college friends for a wedding and runs into a ton of trouble (and lots of misunderstandings). Taye Diggs and Nia Long are great, but the tension/chemistry between snotty Shelby (De Sousa) and cocky Quentin (Howard) is what keeps you laughing all the way through. *Make sure you watch after the end credits for a little extra treat.
