Film: IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT

Year: 1934
Synopsis: An heiress runs away from her family and finds a travel buddy in an undercover newspaper reporter.
This classic Best Picture Oscar winner is more fun than most contemporary films. Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert (who both won Oscars for their perspective roles) ooze chemistry as a cocky reporter and a snotty heiress, respectively. I highly recommend this witty film.

In my opinion, the best Marx Brothers (all four) movie, with Groucho at the head. A bumbling idiot is voted President of Freedonia and hilarity ensues. Groucho was a master comedian and performer. Watch it, if only to see the famous 'mirror' scene.

Synopsis: High-class European thief Gaston Monescu meets his soul mate Lily, a pickpocket masquerading as a countess.
With a great cast and even better story, this film is as good as any modern flick. Thief Gaston works with Lily to con a beautiful perfume company owner. Things take a turn when Gaston falls for her as well.
