Skip It

Film: THE GREEN HORNET
Director: Michel Gondry
Actors: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Christopher Waltz, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Edward James Olmos
Year: 2011

I'm sure you've heard this before, but I want to reiterate. DON'T SEE THIS TERRIBLE FILM!!!! It is truly one of the worst flicks I've subjected myself to in a long time. I barely could get through it. I'm a Seth Rogen fan and Christopher Waltz was excellent in "Inglourious Basterds", but I am very disappointed.

Fun Shoots

Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and Jonah Hill do their best impression of the Keira Knightley/Scarlett Johansson/Tom Ford Vanity Fair shoot. Paul Rudd does a great job of capturing the creepiness of Tom Ford.

Performance of the Day

Actor: JAMES FRANCO
Film: "Pineapple Express"
Character: Saul
Year: 2008

James Franco has always seem like a James Dean/Marlon Brando wannabe to me. He mumbles his words, barely shows much expression, and has those rugged good looks. But, he surprised me with his hilarious turn as 'Saul' in 2008's "Pineapple Express". If you haven't caught his portrayal of a pot-smoking, dealer with a heart of gold, do so immediately.

Quote of the Day

"Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

Paul Rudd as 'Pete', "Knocked Up", 2007

Did You Know...

... the waxing scene in "The 40-year-old Virgin" was real. Steve Carell decided to actually get his chest waxed and it made the movie that much funnier. Talk about method acting!

Quote of the Day

"I'm trying to decide how stoned I am and just how on the verge of death am I right now. Like, am I seeing shit because I'm stoned or because I have no blood left in my body."

Danny McBride as 'Red',
"Pineapple Express", 2008

20 Best Teen/High School Movies

11.) SUPERBAD
Director: Greg Mottola
Actors: Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, Emma Stone,
Christopher Mitz-Plasse, Seth Rogen, Bill Hader,
Kevin Corrigan, Martha MacIssac
Year: 2007

Seth Rogan penned this side-splitting raunchy comedy about two loser best friends trying to get through the last few months of their senior year. They spend the entire film attempting to score alcohol for the cool kids' party, with crazy consequences. This movie made stars out of it's three leads (Hill, Cera, and Mintz-Plasse).
