Flick of the Day

Film: FARGO
Director: The Coen Brothers
Actors: Frances McDormand, William H. Macy, Steve Buscemi, Peter Stormare, Kristin Rudrud
Year: 1996

Synopsis: A pregnant police officer tracks down a kidnapped woman.

Never before had I seen a crime drama like this before. The Coen brothers really know how to bring the weird and strange into a film. Oscar-winner Frances McDormand stars as Marge Gunderson, a pregnant cop trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding a kidnapping. The cast also includes William H. Macy as the husband of the victim and Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare as the hilarious kidnappers. If you haven't seen this, you are truly missing out.
