25 Most Attractive Actors

Robert Redford (1937)

Robert Redford has made many successful films in his day, but acting took a back seat to his desire to direct and produce (he won a Best Director Oscar for 1980's "Ordinary People"). Besides filmmaking, Redford has made, perhaps, an even bigger mark in Hollywood by creating the Sundance Film Festival (a festival intended to help small, indie films secure financial backing from larger production companies).

Flick of the Day

Film: BAREFOOT IN THE PARK
Director: Gene Saks
Actors: Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Charles Boyer, Mildred Natwick, Herb Edelman
Year: 1967

Synopsis: A newly married couple deals with their first year together.

I love Robert Redford and I love Jane Fonda and the fact that they did a movie together is fantastic. This is a real treat. Fonda and Redford play a recently married couple who try to iron out the kinks in their relationship while living in a sixth-floor walk-up New York apartment. It's funny and cute and worth a watch.

Reincarnations

Former golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are the modern-day Robert Redford and Barbra Streisand. Pitt is Hollywood's all-American golden boy, just as Redford was in the 70s and 80s. Aniston strongly resembles Streisand and both have proven that you can be attractive and sexy without being traditionally and conventionally beautiful.

***Redford was best known for starring roles in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", "The Sting", "All the President's Men", and "Indecent Proposal". He is also known for directing such films as "Ordinary People" (for which he won Best Director), "The Horse Whisperer", "A River Runs Through It" (which starred a then unknown Pitt), and founding the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Pitt is known for starring in "Seven", "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Twelve Monkeys" and the "Ocean's Eleven" films. Streisand is best known for her perfect voice, her Oscar-winning role in "Funny Girl", and directing such films as "The Mirror Has Two Faces", "Yentl", and "The Prince of Tides". Aniston became a star with her portrayal of 'Rachel' in the hit show "Friends". She has also attempted to become a box-office draw in films like "Marley and Me", "Rock Star", and "The Switch".
