MisMatched

Actor: GRETA GERWIG

Film: "Arthur"

Character: Naomi Quinn

Year: 2011

I'm not sure if recasting this part would have saved this blah film, but it might have helped. Greta Gerwig is incredibly flat, in the updated role that charming Liza Minnelli created. I didn't buy Russell Brand's obsession with her. It just didn't make sense, especially since the other leading lady was a hilarious and oddly sexy Jennifer Garner. Gerwig really reminded me of another MisMatched favorite, Zooey Deschanel.

4.) JUNO

Director: Jason Reitman

Actors: Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner,

JK Simmons, Allison Janney, Olivia Thirlby, Rainn Wilson

Year: 2007

Diablo Cody's Oscar winning screenplay tells the story of dry, witty, and intelligent (beyond her years) Juno, who finds herself pregnant at sixteen. The cast is stellar (especially Page, Simmons, and a surprisingly beautiful Garner).
