Angela Bassett exudes grace, beauty, and... above all else, a remarkable talent for acting. She faces her greatest challenge when her husband suddenly leaves her. The initial roller coaster ride of emotions are perfectly executed, especially in the pivotal car-burning scene, by Bassett.
