25 Best Christmas Film

2) ELF

Director: Jon Favreau

Actors: Will Ferrell, James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, Amy Sedaris,

Zooey Deschanel, Ed Asner, Bob Newhart, Peter Dinklage

Year: 2003

You can't beat 6'3" Will Ferrell in yellow tights. He stars as Buddy... the elf who travels to NYC to find his father. It's laugh-out-loud funny and you will want to make this a yearly Christmas ritual. My favorite part: Buddy tells a department store Santa that he can't be the real Santa because he smells like beef and cheese.
