MisMatched

Actor: ERIKA CHRISTENSEN

Film: "Swimfan"

Character: Madison Bell

Year: 2002

"Swimfan" was supposed to be the big follow-up to Erika Christensen's breakout role in "Traffic", but it didn't quite work out that way. Christensen seemed completely wrong for the part of crazed, manipulative, and psychotic 'Madison'. I had a hard time believing that she was evil. If that wasn't bad enough, her so-called chemistry with leading man Jesse Bradford was non-existent. She should stick to playing the girl-next door-type because her psycho killer is terrible.

The ultimate cheerleader flick stars Kirsten Dunst as the head of a spirited group of high schoolers. When Torrance (Dunst) discovers that her squad's moves were stolen from another school, she tries desperately to find a new routine in order to win the cheerleading competition. This film is fun and... well, bubbly. It'll keep you cheering and waving those 'spirit fingers'.
