Performance of the Day

Actor: LEELEE SOBIESKI

Film: "Never Been Kissed"

Character: Aldys

Year: 1999

This was one of the first times Leelee Sobieski was introduced to audiences and she really made an impact. Cast as the uber-nerd Aldys, she befriended an ultra-dorky Drew Barrymore when no one else would. Haven't heard from her much lately (except that she had a baby earlier in the year), but I'm hoping she comes back strong.

Double Take

Actors Helen Hunt and Leelee Sobieski look so much alike, that many people confuse them, even though they are twenty years apart in age.

***Helen Hunt has starred in a the hit television show "Mad About You" and several films, including "What Women Want", "Pay It Forward", and her Oscar-winning role in Best Picture winner "As Good As It Gets". Lelee Sobieski is best known for her work in "Never Been Kissed", "Joyride", and "The Glass House".
