25 Most Attractive Actors

Ryan Gosling (1980)

The last and youngest man on our list is sensitive (but very masculine) Ryan Gosling. Gosling has grown from Mouseketeer to indie actor to full blown Hollywood A-lister. He's captured the hearts of many women with his work in the films "The Notebook", "Half Nelson", "Blue Valentine", and "Crazy, Stupid, Love".

HONORABLE MENTION:

Michael Fassbender
Common
Chris Pine
Boris Kodjoe
Colin Farrell
Bradley Cooper
Paul Rudd
Jason Momoa

Fun Shoots

Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and Jonah Hill do their best impression of the Keira Knightley/Scarlett Johansson/Tom Ford Vanity Fair shoot. Paul Rudd does a great job of capturing the creepiness of Tom Ford.

Quote of the Day

"Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

Did You Know...

... the waxing scene in "The 40-year-old Virgin" was real. Steve Carell decided to actually get his chest waxed and it made the movie that much funnier. Talk about method acting!

Performance of the Day

Actor: PAUL RUDD
Film: "Wet Hot American Summer"
Character: Andy
Year: 2001

This little-known gem of a movie was made before Paul Rudd joined the Judd Apatow crowd ("The 40-year-old Virgin", "Knocked Up", etc) and it was my first introduction to 'Rudd the super funny guy'. The film, set at a summer camp in the 80s, is hilarious and features Rudd as the 'hot' counselor. He's ridiculous and arrogant and a bit of an asshole, but he plays this part to perfection.

Check out Rudd with the camp director (played wonderfully by Janeane Garofalo)

Ginger of the Week

Lauren Ambrose is probably known best for her odd-ball roles than her red hair. Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, Lauren is the daughter of an interior designer and caterer. Ambrose studied at the ACES Educational Center for the Arts and also became a trained opera singer at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She started her career with bit parts in films like "In & Out", but it was her jump to lead actor in 1998's "Can't Hardly Wait", that got her noticed. Ambrose is best known for her twice Emmy-nominated performance in HBO's critically acclaimed series, "Six Feet Under" (which lasted five seasons). She has since focused on stage, starring with Susan Sarandon and Geoffrey Rush in the Broadway show "Exit the King". Next up she'll star in the films "Grassroots" (with Jason Biggs and Cedric the Entertainer) and "Wanderlust" (with Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, and Malin Akerman).

20 Best Teen/High School Movies

5.) CLUELESS
Director: Amy Heckerling
Actors: Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy,
Paul Rudd, Donald Faison, Wallace Shawn, Breckin Meyer,
Elisa Donovan, Dan Hedaya, Jeremy Sisto
Year: 1995

"Clueless" became the movie of a generation of kids in the mid 90s (perhaps even leading to the epidemic of the 'whatever' mentality inflicting young adults and teens today). Alicia Silverstone became a bonafide star after her turn as a snotty, selffish, rich girl, who busies herself with the love lives of others. Based on Jane Austen's Emma, this comedy shows that ditzy can be smart.
