Brit of the Week
Hugh Dancy (June 19, 1975) was born in Staffordshire, England. His father is a philosopher and professor and his mother is a publisher. He was educated at Dragon School, Winchester College, and finally St. Peter's College. He got his start on the series "Cold Feet" and made his film debut in 2001's "Black Hawk Down". He has since had roles in "Adam", "Confessions of a Shopaholic", "King Arthur", and "Evening". Next up for him: "My Idiot Brother" (with Paul Rudd, Rashida Jones, and Elizabeth Banks), "Hysteria" (with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rupert Everett, and Gemma Jones), and "Dorothy of Oz" (with Lea Michele, Patrick Stewart, and Dan Aykroyd).
