This original, witty flick, however, from the warped mind of horror master Wes Craven, is very alluring. The story revolves around Sydney (Campbell), the victim of a masked madman who likes to torment his victims with... calls and scary movie trivia. This film helped jump-start the rush of teen horror films (and Drew Barrymore's fledgling career), a genre that had been dead since the 80s.
