Bouncing back to Hollywood after almost being completely overshadowed by Hudson, Foxx, Murphy, and... ughhhh... Beyonce in "Dreamgirls", Broadway darling Anika Noni Rose really hit her mark with this performance. Playing the first black Disney princess (about freaking time), Rose showed she possesses a true talent for voice work. I hope she can carve out a place for herself in film and television, but if not, she will always have bragging rights. After all, how many people can say they are a Disney princess?

I am no fan of Beyonce in the medium of film, but this performance takes the cake when it comes to bad, bad, and bad. Beyonce is cast as a housewife and mother who fights off a deranged stalker. To put it simply... she's terrible. I couldn't enjoy this "Fatal Attraction" rip-off because my senses were in overload whenever Ms. Knowles was on camera. She was stiff, lacked depth, and honestly just seemed to be completely uncomfortable. I say stick to singing and shaking your ass, Beyonce.
