"Flashdance" was a hugely successful film when it was released and has continued to draw an audience throughout the years. For awhile I wasn't sure why. The plot is okay, the acting decent... but what really has kept people interested is the climactic final dance scene. It's uplifting, energetic, and the song (which won singer Irene Cara an Oscar) is freaking awesome.
