This Welsh actor hit a home-run with his performance as the less-than-clean, oddball Spike. As the flat-mate to William (Hugh Grant), Ifans stole the show (with scenes like mistaking mayonnaise for yogurt and his first meeting with Julia Roberts' character, Anna Scott). This film is truly one of the best romantic dramadies and well worth the watch.
Speaking of British Rom-Coms....I made my bf watch Love Actually the other night (unfortunately with french dubbing) and he hated it! I tried to explain that it was the lame dubbing that was killing the amazing English humor....he didn't get it....buzzkill.
