Johnny Depp (1963)
Johnny Depp began his career in B horror films ("A Nightmare on Elm Street") and silly television shows ("21 Jump Street"), but he hit his stride when he made the seemingly odd choice to star in unknown director Tim Burton's risky film "Edward Scissorhands". Depp hasn't looked back and has based his career on his talent rather than his great looks.
