A wealthy family prepares for the marriage of their only son into a family that... well, is not exactly up-to-par with their standards. First off, the bride wears braces and is named Muffin. This is one of the craziest weddings you'll ever attend. In true Altman fashion, there are several story-lines going on at once and the cast is tremendous (and huge). This film isn't as well known as the others on the list, but it is truly one of the best you'll ever see. Carol Burnett's performance is phenomenal (she was robbed on an Oscar nomination). *Check out Lillian Gish as the family matriarch. She was one of the first film stars in the 1910s and 1920s.
