Flick of the Day
Film: BEACHES
Director: Garry Marshall
Actors: Bette Midler, Barbara Hershey, John Heard, Lainie Kazan, Grace Johnston, Mayim Bialik, Marcie Leeds, Spalding Gray
Year: 1988
Synopsis: Two girls, from very different backgrounds, become best friends for life.
Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey star as CeCe and Hillary, two very different women, who have formed an unbreakable friendship. Midler is at her best in the role of an outgoing, talented, aspiring singer (sounds a lot like her real life). If you are in the mood for a good laugh and good cry, pop this classic in the vcr... I mean Netflix it.
