Jodie Foster's hilarious ode to the joys of family is our flick of the day. "Home for the Holidays" takes a peak into the life of unlucky-in-love Claudia Larson. When her daughter (Danes) decides to spend the holidays with her boyfriend, Claudia is forced to deal with her nutty family alone. Full of laughs and witty dialogue, this film will have you rolling on the floor. Hunter shines in a role that seems to have been written for her. Bancroft and Downey Jr are also in their element as Claudia's overbearing, but loving mother and insane brother, respectively. Also look for highlight Geraldine Chaplin (Charlie's granddaughter) who plays loony Aunt Glady.
